1. Maps of the current conflict and of the peace initiatives
From the Foundation for Middle East Peace website, the first place to go for Israel/Palestine maps.
Some 60 maps of Israel, the West Bank, Settlements and Population, the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, Re-deployment and Final Status Options
2. Mainly historical maps
From the All that remains/Palestine remembered websites
Around 20 maps, largely historical, mainly from before and around 1948 but some from the nineties as well. Include an 'extremely rare map of Palestine before al-Nakba' signed by Moshe Dayan!
3. Settlements in the West Bank - the authoritative map
Eyal Weizman's tour de force published in collaboration with B'tselem, the Israeli human rights organisation
'This high-detail, colour-coded map with case studies shows the fragmentation of West Bank territory and the Jewish settlements in painstaking detail. For the first time, it reveals the potential settlement expansion provided for in masterplans.'

An accompanying article The key to peace: dismantling the matrix of control analyses Israel's attempts to render the occuaption invisible and what needs to be done to undermine this.
5. The Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs
Passia, the Palestinian Academic Society for the Study of International Affairs, Jerusalem is about to publish a collection called The Palestine Question in Maps, 1878-2002.
'A first series of maps follows the path of modern Palestinian history in chronological order, focusing on key demographic themes and political milestones, as well as identifying the various proposals posited for the resolution of the Palestine Question (Chapters 1-3). Jerusalem itself is of such intrinsic importance to Palestinian history and to the resolution of the Palestine-Israel conflict, that a separate section is devoted, in detail, to its changing circumstances (Chapter 4). Core issues, such as water and refugees, are also addressed in isolation within a separate chapter (Chapter 5).'

Around twenty maps produced by Le Monde Diplomatique to accompay its analyses of he Middle-East Conflict.
